                                                     The Caring Tucks

A lot of people in this world would never want to die. They just want to figure out a way that will keep them alive forever. People don’t want to leave this world and just wish that they had eternal life. So having eternal life is the best thing that can happen according to them. In this novel, Tuck and his family were immortal. This would have been the best thing ever, but that’s not what they believed. The Tucks thought that life is a cycle that constantly changes from a child to a young person and then to an adult, but this is not what happens when you are immortal. You have to stay the same age forever and you are then basically like a rock, which never changes.  The Tucks didn’t want others to feel like they did as immortals.

            I noticed that there was a theme of love in this novel for others and also for humanity. The Tucks could have revealed the secret of the spring to everyone. They would then become one of the richest families because of all their profit from that. This was not the case since the Tucks were kind and sincere. They didn’t have greed in them like the man with a yellow suit. This family cared about the world and their surroundings.
